Using Auto-Fixes

Last updated: 20 Aug 2026 412 views

One-Click Problem Solving (Premium)

Auto-Fix lets you resolve common issues with a single click.

How It Works

  1. Find an issue that shows an "Auto-Fix" button
  2. Click Auto-Fix - for file and settings fixes, a backup is created automatically first
  3. Done! The issue is marked as fixed

.htaccess changes are additionally health-checked automatically afterwards - if the site becomes unreachable, the change is rolled back immediately.

Undoing a Fix

File and settings fixes can be undone with one click:

  1. Go to Site Auditor > Fixes
  2. Find the fix in the active fixes list
  3. Click Undo - the original state is restored

Important: Database cleanups (spam, trash, revisions, transients) permanently remove data and cannot be undone. They are clearly marked and require an extra confirmation before running.

Available Auto-Fixes

Over 70 fixes in six categories:

  • Security: Security headers, HSTS, hide versions, block user enumeration, disable XML-RPC, and more
  • Performance: GZIP, browser caching, defer scripts, lazy loading, Heartbeat, and more
  • Database: Convert MyISAM to InnoDB, clean transients, optimize autoload, clean revisions, and more
  • Cleanup: Emoji scripts, oEmbed, RSD links, and more
  • WooCommerce: Cart fragments, Marketing Hub, store settings, and more
  • Page Builders: Elementor and Divi optimizations
