1. About these terms

These terms apply between you and Pihlfelt & Vänner AB (Swedish company reg. no. 556952-1056), Boda Båtmanstorp 203, 395 94 Rockneby, Sweden, when you use pihlfelt.se, create an account or buy a license for one of our WordPress plugins. By creating an account or completing a purchase you accept the terms.

Consulting work, such as web development and integrations, is not covered by these terms and is governed by a quote or a separate agreement.

2. Account

You are responsible for keeping your account details accurate and your login credentials secret. Tell us if you suspect that someone else has gained access to the account. You can delete the account at any time in your account settings.

3. Plugins and licenses

The free versions of our plugins are distributed through WordPress.org. A paid plan gives you access to the Premium/Pro version, updates, support and related services, such as AI quotas, for as long as the plan is active.

  • The license key may be used on the number of sites the plan specifies. You can move a license by deactivating it on one site and activating it on another.
  • You may use the license on sites you manage for your clients, within the plan's limit.
  • The license key may not be published, resold or shared with outside parties.
  • We may suspend a license that is used in breach of these terms or where the payment has been reversed.

4. Prices and payment

Current prices are shown on the website and at checkout. VAT or sales tax is added according to the rules in your country and is calculated at checkout. Payment is handled by Stripe.

5. Subscription and renewal

Plans are subscriptions that run yearly or monthly and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account; it then remains valid until the end of the paid period.

When a plan has expired, the plugin keeps working on your site, but updates, support and server-based services stop. Price changes apply from the next renewal at the earliest and are announced in advance by email.

6. Refunds and right of withdrawal

If you are not satisfied, you get your money back within 14 days of your first purchase of a plan, no reason needed. This applies to both private individuals and businesses. Contact us via the support page and we will refund the same payment method and deactivate the license. Renewals are not refunded.

If you are a consumer, this does not affect the rights you have under mandatory law.

7. Support and updates

Support is provided via the support page in Swedish or English to customers with an active plan. We develop the plugins continuously and may add, change or remove features. Updates are tested against current versions of WordPress and, where relevant, WooCommerce.

8. AI services and fair use

AI features and server-side image optimization have the quotas and limits stated for your plan. Quotas reset every month and unused quota does not carry over.

  • You are responsible for having the right to use the images and texts you send to the service.
  • AI-generated texts may contain errors. Review them before publishing; you are responsible for the content on your site.
  • The service may not be used to circumvent quotas, disrupt operations or process unlawful material. In case of abuse we may limit or suspend access.

9. Use of the website

You may not use pihlfelt.se in a way that breaks the law, attempt to circumvent security features, or load the service with automated requests beyond what the plugins themselves make.

10. Intellectual property

The content on pihlfelt.se — texts, images, documentation and trademarks — belongs to Pihlfelt & Vänner AB or our licensors. The plugins' code may be used under the license that ships with each plugin.

11. Liability

The plugins are provided as is. We fix errors as soon as we can, but cannot guarantee that they work flawlessly in every environment or together with all themes and other plugins.

  • You are responsible for backups of your site and for testing updates before they are used in production.
  • The plugins provide information and automation, but the decisions are yours: you are responsible for the prices set in your store, for actions you take based on an audit report, and for changes to your images and texts.
  • Our liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the plan in question during the last twelve months. We are not liable for indirect damages such as lost profit, lost data or downtime.

The limitations do not apply in cases of intent or gross negligence, and do not restrict consumers' rights under mandatory law.

12. Personal data

How we process personal data is described in our privacy policy, with a separate section for each plugin.

13. Changes to the terms

We may update these terms. The new version is published on this page with a new date, and material changes are announced to account holders by email before they take effect.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes are settled by the Swedish general courts. If you are a consumer, you can also turn to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (arn.se), and you keep the protection that mandatory rules in your home country give you.
