Pihlfelt Image Assistant
Install the plugin via Plugins → Add New in WordPress admin and activate it. A new menu, Image Assistant, appears.
Open Images and click Scan media library. The scan runs in the background and tags every image: missing alt text? Oversized? WebP available?
Use the filter tabs — start with Missing alt. Write alt texts directly in the list, or click the AI button for a suggestion. The Dashboard always shows what remains.
